Fun Ways to Serve!!

Remember there is no Journey this Sunday night the 21st so enjoy some down time with friends and family!! Have a great Christmas break and be sure to get signed up for Real Weekend Jan. 2nd - 4th. We're Back in Action!

Very Scary!! Anyway, Scott is back and ready to rock. We've got the calendar updated and there are lots of cool things coming up. Don't miss taking the Shidler kids to the movie this Sat. as well as our Christmas Party on the 10th and our Huge "Real Weekend" coming up Jan. 2nd - 4th! Take an opportunity this week to serve someone and be Jesus's hands and feet to them and let them know the love of God. You guys are amazing and I'm looking forward to continuing the Journey with you as this year ends and '09 begins!!

Hello All,Angela and I are back from Pittsburgh and we had a great time at the Youth Specialties Convention. The Pic is of David Crowder as he led worship for us during one of our sessions, I just wanted you to be jealous! We missed you and heard things went really well on Sunday so thanks to everyone who came and was apart and helped out. We have several things coming up that I wanted to make you aware of...1)Chill Time for all Middle School students is this Friday from 7-10pm at my house so come, bring a friend, and be ready to hang out and have some fun. Bring your swimsuit if you want to get in the hot tub!2)We need some students who are willing to help out again this year at the Compassion Concert our church is doing this Sat. at 7pm. They have asked us to sell Candy and drinks again so if you can help out, let me know!3)We will be commissioning our Campus Missionaries this Sunday during the second service so come and encourage them as they go on their campuses sharing the love of God!4)Engaged for your parents and Youth Led Journey will happen on the 16th of this month as well as starting the sign up for our huge D-Now, Big Weekend Jan. 2-4th so be sure to be here for that.I think that's it for now. What a weekend! I hope everyone has recovered from an awesome Mars/Venus experience. Here is what is coming up: We have Shidler Bible Club this Sat. so come at 9:30am and come have some fun with these fun kids. Our awesome leadership team will be leading Journey this Sunday night and don't forget to hang out and help out with the Trunk or Treat for the kiddos this Friday! Have a great week!!

Mars/Venus Retreat

I wanted to let everyone know that the sign up for the Mars/Venus Retreat October 24th - 25th is up and the packets are out. It's going to be an awesome time of talking about and experiencing what it means to be a man or woman created in the image of God. Bring your friends and plan on being apart of this sweet weekend.

I just wanted to gloat that I got to hang out with KJ-52. Jake Anson and I got to do a youth minister lunch thing with him so we thought we'd take a pic with him so we could pretend to be cool!!

See You At the Pole

Don't forget our SYATP worship and prayer rally at PCBC at 6:30pm on Tuesday. We are going to spend some awesome time in worship and prayer seeking God for your schools. All Students are welcome. We will have donuts at 6:30am on Wednesday morning in the youth room for all students who want to come early and then we will go pray around the flagpole at North at 7:00am. I encourage all of you to go and pray for your campus around your flagpole Wednesday morning!!

Cool Happenings!!

Yes, that is me with the world famous Drum Major of the Phatom Regiment, Mr. Danial Fibus!! Anyway, there are cool things coming so pay attention. We have our first "Chill Time" for all middle school students this Friday at my house from 7 - 10pm. It's going to rock and high schoolers, come and get to know these awesome students!! We also have the amazing Parenteen Conference for your parents/guardians this Sunday night from 4 - 7pm so make sure they come!! We will also be watching a movie this Sunday night at 4pm and then having a youth led Journey from 6 - 7pm. Then there's See You At the Pole next Wednesday at 7pm at your school flag pole. We are doing a prayer/worship service for SYATP on Tuesday the 23rd with Laura Gossett at PCBC from 6:30 to 8:00pm. Check out the calendar so you don't miss anything! Lot's is going on so plug in and have a blast!

Hey Group, you really need to check out the youth calendar! All the new fall stuff is on there like Bible study, Campus Missionary training, Praise band practice, Shidler Bible Club, Chill Time, and big stuff like See You At the Pole, and our Mars/Venus Retreat in October. Be sure to check your email and the youth website often to stay current on what all is going on!! You guys rock!!

Thank God the Sun is still there!!

Just wanted to remind you that if you are interested in being a campus missionary this school year that we will meet this Sunday at 5:00pm in the youth room to kick things off. If you need a ride to get there early, just let me know and we'll come get you!!
Also, our first full Journey time in the youth room is also this Sunday night from 5:30pm to 7pm in the youth room. It's gonna rock so be there and bring your friends!!

School's In Baby!!

Hey, for most, school's back in session! I know everyone's totally excited and ready to go so I just wanted to wish everyone a great school year. Don't forget our last summer Journey is this Sunday at the Jennings from 5 - 7pm. Also, we've started up 5th Block again for High Schoolers every Wednesday from 3:45 to 5:30. We will kick of our Regular Journey times on the 24th with food at 5pm and then Journey from 5:30 to 7pm and we will take the weekend of the 31st off so enjoy an evening with your family. It's going to be a great year, you guys are awesome!!

August Stuff!!

Lot's of August things to think about. Be sure to check out the calendar for all the details on things coming up!! They Guy/Girl Lock-in at PCBC and NCCC is this weekend. The Youth Evangelism Conference is the 8th and 9th of this month. School starts on the 13th for PC. Our last three summer Journey times at at the Dodson's, Youtsey's, and the Jennings. And don't forget we are starting to take commitments for students and adults interested in going to Belize, Central America next summer. If you have questions about any of this stuff, check the website and then call Scott at 308-7335!!

Mission Project '08

Hello All,
I just wanted to remind you of our Mission Project Meeting tomorrow at 6pm in the youth room. It is a must unless you are gone! We will go over tons of stuff and make sure we are all ready to go! Be praying for the week and I'll see you tomorrow!!

Journey Change for Sunday!

BIG FYI,
The location for Journey Sunday night will be the Haynes House instead of the Aman's. We'll meet at the church at 4:30pm to car pool over and will be done around 6:30 or so to get back for our Falls Creek Parent/Student meeting at 7:15pm. The address and map are on the calendar page!!

Big Things Happening!!

Hello, I've got a couple of quick reminders for you! Don't forget our Falls Creek Parent/Student meeting this Sunday night at 7:15pm in the Sanctuary. If you can't make it because of Father's Day or something it's no problem, don't worry about it, just let me know if you have any questions.

We will have our Journey time this Sunday night at the Aman's from 5-7pm. We'll meet at the church at 4:45 to car pool if you don't know how to get there. Check the calendar for directions and other details!! You guys rock!!

Last Week of School Stuff!!

A couple of things to remember!! We do have our last 5th Block and Bible Study this Wednesday so plan on coming!! We will also have our last big Chill Time this Friday night from 7pm to 11pm at my house. We're going to have a school's out party so bring your bathing suits to get in the hot tub and come have a blast with your friends!! We've got some fun games and great food so don't miss out! We will NOT have Journey time on Sunday night. We changed our minds and are wanting you guys to hang out with friends and family for the holiday! Don't forget to sign up for Falls Creek and to bring your friends!!

Movie Night & Bible Club

We are going to go see the new Chronicles of Narnia Movie Sat. night at 8:40 at Quail Springs. If you want to go, get your ticket or let me know asap and i'll get it for you and meet us at the mall by 8:15pm. If you go with us to Bible club Sat. morning, I'll pay your way to the movie. Some of us are going to the Deer Creek Graduation so that's why we'll meet you there. If you want to go to Bible Club, meet us at the church at 9:30am and we'll be going over to Hafer Park in Edmond to hang out with the kids! It's going to be a great weekend!!

Camp Sign-ups Are Beginning!

Summer Camps are right around the corner and it's time to get geared up! Camp materials for all the various summer camps and mission projects are now available in the youth room or you can see Scott for all the details. All the details will also be on the youth website at www.ncccjourney.com. There is limited space for Falls Creek so sign up early and get your deposit in to guarantee your spot. Invite all your friends and come enjoy the best summer ever!!

Things That R Happen'n!

Mmmmm, Yummy!! Just a few things to note, we are having Chill Time this Friday from 7pm to 11pm if you want to come and hang out! We're also doing Bible Club on Sat. if you want to help some awesome kids make stuff for the moms for Mother's Day. Be here at 9:30am to go!

We're also going to be starting sign-ups for all the cool summer stuff like Falls Creek, VBS, our summer Mission Project, etc. Don't miss out and get signed up!!

Lot's Happening!

Hello All,
Just a couple of quick things. First off, we do have Sat. Bible Club this Sat. and we don't have to meet at the church until 10am instead of 9:30am (Oh Yeah!!). We should be done around 12:30pm and we may run by the Refuge and see what's going on after Bible club.
I hope you're doing well with your 30 Hour Famine stuff and getting out there and raising money for the kids in Africa. It's going to be an amazing weekend April 25th and 26th so be sure to check out the calendar for all the details. If you haven't signed up, let me know and we'll plug you in!!
All the Big Summer stuff is coming up as well. We've started signing up for the Summer Mission Project July 13th - 18th with the church from PA. We'll be doing an inner city day camp with Faith Works of the Inner City and it's going to be awesome. We'll also start signing up for Summer Camp at Falls Creek as well as the Disciples Camp if you want to go there. Again, check out the youth Calendar for all the details!!

Summer Mission Project and Belize 2009

We're going to be talking about all the upcoming Missions stuff for this summer and our Belize trip in 2009 this Sunday night during Journey at 5:30pm in the youth room. Come and be apart of some exciting things that are right around the corner!

Chill Time will Happen Friday!!

Just a quick reminder that Chill Time will happen this Friday at Scott and Angela's house from 7pm to 11pm. Come and hang out and play some Wii, get in the hot tub, and just chill with us if you want too. Don't forget to come Sunday School and Journey as well!!
